Section 83
Procedure for consulting the Public Service Commission in relation to departmental proceedings

(1) When sent in writing for the purpose of consultation with the Public Service Commission in accordance with Section 82 regarding the departmental punishment of an employee, all documents related to the nature of the departmental punishment and any explanation submitted on behalf of the employee should also be sent to the Public Service Commission. .
(2) In addition to the documents received under sub-section (1), if any other details regarding the employee are required, the Public Service Commission may request the relevant authority and it shall be the duty of the authority to provide the details requested by the Public Service Commission.
